Wilmington Woman's Club members Emma Dineen and Fay Hall presented Hoggard High School sophomore, Kylie Lundy, with a check to attend the Hugh O’Brian Youth (HOBY) Leadership Academy. Ms. Lundy has a GPA over 4.0 and is showing great leadership skills by being involved with many clubs and by volunteering hours helping students at the school and in our community.
For over five decades, HOBY has inspired young people to make a difference and become catalysts for positive change in their home, school, workplace, and community.
Each spring, 10,000 high school sophomores from across the country join one of HOBY’s 70 State Leadership Seminars to recognize their leadership talents and apply them to become effective, ethical leaders in their home, school, workplace and community.
